Does G's teas use full spectrum* or CBD isolate in our products. We use BOTH!
Full-spectrum CBD products contain small amounts of THC, while CBD isolate is completely THC-free. Here’s how the two types of CBD supplements differ.
CBD (cannabidiol) and THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) are the two most well known and recognized compounds found in cannabis. They are known as cannabinoids, a class of active compounds that interact with the body’s native systems. There are more than 100 different cannabinoids in cannabis that scientists know about, but CBD and THC are the most abundant.
While CBD and THC vary in how they interact with the two receptors, the most notable difference between them is whether they will cause you to get high when consumed.
Found in high levels in marijuana, THC is psychoactive, meaning it will cause a high. CBD on the other hand, is most abundant in hempand does not cause a high. In fact, CBD has the capability of suppressing the euphoric properties of THC when the two are consumed together.
If you were to consume high levels of THC by inhaling or ingesting marijuana, the compounds would stimulate psychoactive side effects and cause you to get high. You would experience temporary effects like lowered reaction time, memory impairments, and coordination issues.
You don’t have to worry about these types of effects with CBD supplements. CBD oil supplements that are created with hemp contain only trace levels of THC (0.3%), far too small than what’s needed to cause a high or elicit any other significant side effects. Hemp-derived CBD oil products are safe for everyone.
Our teas are full spectrum , with varying degrees of CBD. We use both cannabis/hemp derived CDB, and CDB isolate in all of our products.
